the art of flying the trapeze. A exceptional trapeze performance
should bring them together. After months of practicing, the big
night for Joseph and Alice has arrived. But a tragic accident
destroys the magic of the moment. Alice falls.
Broken, Joseph refuses ever to come down
again. In the following months Joseph becomes the new circus attraction.
People from everywhere come to see the madman up in the circus
ceiling.
Slowly Joseph regains his peace of mind.
As he feels better, he wants to repeat the performance that has
caused the trauma. Nina, Alice’s sister, will help him.
She agrees to learn the trapeze act with him. In the night of
their great performance a surprising guest arrives.
